1. Backstory:
Babyish Worth began as a college dorm project between two friends who shared a love for music and a disdain for the mundane. The two members, Hannah Young and Peter Watkins, were classmates at the University of Texas, studying music theory and composition. One day, they started experimenting with old records, looping them over original guitar riffs with bizarre lyrical stories that explored the innocence of childhood and the value of freedom. Their friends enjoyed the unique sound, and soon after, Babyish Worth was born.
In the beginning, Babyish Worth played in local bars and coffee shops in Austin, Texas. Their vibrant energy and quirky lyrics quickly gained them a cult-like following amongst college students and locals. Their breakthrough moment arrived when their song “The Child in Me” won a local radio station’s song contest, propelling them into the national spotlight. Now, they’re a vital part of the indie music scene, continuously experimenting and pushing boundaries with their unique sound.

3. Song Title:
“Tricycle Trails”
4. Full song lyrics:
Verse 1:
Riding on my tricycle, the path is my realm,
Chasing the golden sunset, I’m the captain at the helm.
Childhood dreams in my pocket, innocence in my heart,
Never knew growing up would tear that world apart.
Chorus:
Tricycle trails, take me back to those days,
When life was a canvas, painted in vibrant haze.
Cotton candy clouds, and comic book tales,
I miss the simplicity of those tricycle trails.
Verse 2:
Treading through the grown-up world, I wear a borrowed mask,
Misplaced dreams, and forgotten laughter, is that too much to ask?
Yearning for that time, when everything made sense,
When life was a playground, and not a pretense.
Chorus:
Tricycle trails, take me back to those days,
When the world was a treasure, waiting for our gaze.
Paper plane adventures, and fairy tale sails,
I long to ride again on those tricycle trails.
Bridge:
Pigtails in the wind, and skinned knees from a fall,
Stars in jars, and height marks on the wall.
Dew-kissed mornings, and moonlit tales,
Take me back, take me back to those tricycle trails.
Chorus (Reprise):
Tricycle trails, I’m tracing back the ways,
To the heart of the child, lost in the grown-up maze.
Echoes of laughter, in memory prevails,
As I dream of the magic of those tricycle trails.
