Backstory:
Muted Profile is a four-piece band that was formed in the small coastal town of Gull’s Landing, Maine in 2015. The members of Muted Profile – lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Briggs, bassist Jason LaRusso, drummer Oliver Everett, and keyboardist Rebecca “Becky” Townsend – were all high school friends who shared a passion for music, but it was a serendipitous blackout during a school talent show that truly brought them together. As they huddled together backstage in the darkness, they found harmony in the silence and the Muted Profile was born.
Muted Profile never shied away from their humble roots, infusing their songs with the serene beauty and tranquility of their coastal hometown. They earned a local following playing at various venues in Gull’s Landing before their break out single catapulted them into the national spotlight.

Title:
“Whispers In The Wind”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C] Under the [Am] falling stars [G] tonight,
[D] I hear [C] your whispers [G] in the wind.
[C] The silent [Am] echoes of [G] our fight,
[D] Still linger [C] on my [G] skin.
(Chorus)
[Em] Whispered words, [G] like a ghostly [C] tide,
[Am] Ebbing away, [D] with our foolish pride.
[Em] Can you hear, [G] our love’s sweet [C] requiem,
[Am] In the whispers, [D] whispers in the [G] wind.
(Verse 2)
[C] The moonlight [Am] hides your [G] smiling face,
[D] But your whispers [C] still remain.
[C] They echo [Am] through this [G] hollow space,
[D] A haunting [C] lover’s [G] refrain.
