1. Backstory:

Careless Car came together in the bustling city of Austin, Texas, in the summer of 2010. The band was formed by childhood friends and self-taught musicians, Jack Simmons (vocals), Charlie Thompson (guitar), Toni James (bass), and Rick Bailey (drums). The quartet, all sharing a love for vintage automobiles and classic rock, decided to merge their passion for music and cars, giving birth to the band, Careless Car.

The band started its journey jamming in local pubs and garages, infusing the music with their distinctive blend of hard rock with a touch of blues. Their breakthrough came in 2013, when their demo caught the attention of a famous music producer, who signed them to his label. With their energetic stage performances and soulful lyrics, Careless Car has become one of the most loved bands in the local music scene and is now slowly gaining recognition on the national stage.
