Near Collapse

1. Short Backstory:

Near Collapse was formed in the gritty alleys of Detroit in 2007. The band consists of members, Leo Hart (vocals, guitar), Billy Grayson (bass), Tommy “Sparks” Sparrow (drums), and Lucy Lin (keyboard, backing vocals). They all met in the underground music scene, bonding over a shared dream of challenging the status quo and creating music that resonates with life’s struggles, victories, and everything in between. Their band name ‘Near Collapse’ was inspired by the hardships and near misses they experienced in their early days, which they always managed to overcome.

The band’s journey has not been easy; they’ve endured countless trials and tribulations. From playing in dingy bars to barely making ends meet, Near Collapse fought their way through. They signed to an independent record label in 2010, with their breakout album ‘Resilience’ propelling them into the mainstream rock stratosphere in 2012. Since then, Near Collapse has gone on to release several chart-topping albums, solidifying their place in the music industry, but they’ve never lost touch with their roots or their original mission: to make music that matters.

2. Music Genre:
Near Collapse can be best described as a Rock band with a hint of Punk and Alternative influences.

3. Song Title:
“Fault Lines”

4. Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Walking on these fault lines,
In the shadows of our past,
Echoes of the lost times,
Wondering how long it’ll last.

(Chorus)
We’re near collapse, but we don’t fall,
Through the cracks, we stand tall,
In the ruins of it all, we find our call,
On these fault lines, we won’t stall.

(Verse 2)
The world’s spinning faster,
Our hearts beat in time,
In the midst of disaster,
We find a rhythm, find a rhyme.

(Chorus)
We’re near collapse, but we rise,
Under pressure, towards the skies,
In the wreckage, we realize,
On these fault lines, there are no ties.

(Bridge)
In this chaos, we find our peace,
A silver lining, a sweet release,
From the ashes, we’ll find our lease,
On these fault lines, love will never cease.

(Chorus)
We’re near collapse, but we heal,
In the ruins, we begin to feel,
In the fragments, we find what’s real,
On these fault lines, we learn to deal.

(Outro)
Walking on these fault lines,
In the echoes of our past,
We’re near collapse, yet we stand fast,
In the end, love will outlast.
