1. Outlying Identification, often abbreviated as OI, is a band that sprung from the heart of the concrete jungle, New York City. Comprising of four childhood friends, namely Mark Gonzales on vocals and rhythm guitar, Josh Daniels tearing up the lead guitar, Sarah Thompson on bass guitar, and Alexi Petrov masterfully handling the drums. They discovered their shared passion for music while attending the same high school. Their connection was immediate, and they started playing music together, initially covering their favorite songs before venturing into creating their original compositions.
They began performing at local bars, college festivals, and small gigs around the city – building a name for themselves. Their break came when they were discovered by a music producer who saw their electrifying performance at a local music festival. From then on, there was no looking back for OI. They have not only enthralled audiences with their mesmerizing performances but have also been successful in carving a niche for themselves in the music industry.
