Robust King began as a garage band in the small town of Lexington, Kentucky. The group consisted of childhood friends Tommy O’Reilly (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Luis Mendez (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Nicky Pearson (Drums). They shared a common passion for music and had been jamming together since their teenage years. As their chemistry developed, they began to write their own songs, blending elements of blues, rock, and soul. After winning a local battle of the bands contest, they captured the attention of a local record producer, and their journey as Robust King had begun.
