1. Backstory:
Warlike Account burst onto the music scene with a thunderous combination of talent and rebellion. Hailing from the grungy side of Seattle, the band formed in the dreary winter of 2005 when four disillusioned workers from a local accounting firm decided to trade their calculators for guitars and drumsticks. The band members include lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mike “The Auditor” Anderson, lead guitarist Jim “The Taxman” Thompson, bassist Frank “The CPA” Novak, and drummer Dave “The Actuary” Mitchell. They found solace in their shared dissatisfaction with the monotonous 9-to-5 routine, pouring out their angst and frustration into their music.
Their first gig was at a rundown local pub, playing to a crowd of disinterested patrons. However, their explosive performance turned heads, stirring up a local following that gradually expanded to a national fan base. Their debut album “Financial Ruin” sparked controversy but gained them significant notoriety, establishing Warlike Account as a force to be reckoned with in the punk rock scene.

3. Song Title: “Balance of Terror”
4. Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
In the heart of the city, under the neon lights,
We’re punching numbers, losing fights,
Another day, another dollar, no end in sight,
In the gritty grays of our endless nights.
(Chorus)
This is the balance of terror, my friends,
Dancing on the edge, where sanity ends,
Always in the red, can’t make amends,
In this warlike account, where nothing transcends.
(Verse 2)
We’re the unsung heroes, in suits and ties,
Bearing the burden, living lies,
In the faceless crowd, under watchful eyes,
Dreaming of a world, where the spirit flies.
(Chorus)
This is the balance of terror, my friends,
Caught in the web, in tangled bends,
In the corporate world, where passion ends,
In this warlike account, where despair descends.
(Bridge)
We’re more than numbers, more than a score,
Beneath the surface, there’s so much more,
Break free from the chains, let the music roar,
In our warlike account, it’s an open door.
(Chorus)
This is the balance of terror, my friends,
Living on the edge, where the road bends,
In this warlike account, where the journey extends,
Let’s rise above the fear, that’s where it ends.
