Backstory:
Wrong Observation was born in the bustling city of Chicago in the summer of 2007 when four bored college friends decided to combine their diverse musical talents into one unique sound. The band members – lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Morris, bass guitarist and backup vocalist Harry Thompson, drummer Sam Caldwell, and keyboardist and synth player Alex Turner – met at the University of Illinois. Lucky Skin was formed in the heart of Chicago’s music scene in 2012, by lead vocalist and drummer Jake Bailey and lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Noah Foster. Influenced by an eclectic mix of soul, jazz, and vintage rock, they began to experiment with powerful riffs, infectious beats, and thought-provoking lyrics. When Cynthia ‘Cee’ Flynn (bass and backing vocals) joined the band, it was like the missing piece fell into place. Her love for blues and funk brought a unique edge to the band’s sound.
