Backstory:
Formed in the heart of the bustling city of Los Angeles in 2012, the members of Stupendous Control met in a way that aligns perfectly with the whimsical and unpredictable nature of their music. Lead singer and guitarist, Jake Henderson, was a street performer when bassist, Sammy Turner, stumbled upon him while walking his dog. Both shared a love for unique, experimental music and instantly clicked, subsequently inviting drummer, Ava Sanders, and keyboardist, Ron Philips, to join the fray. The band was hence born, determined to redefine musical norms and inspire their listeners to think outside the box.
Genre:
The band is classified under the genre of Alternative Rock, but they blend elements of indie, folk, and psychedelic music to create a sound that is uniquely their own.
Title: “Magnetic Echoes”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em G D A
I wander in a world, where silence has a hold,
Em G D A
Speak up, dear wind, whisper your tales untold.
(Verse 2)
Em G D A
In the vastness of the night, under the luminescent light,
Em G D A
I hear your magnetic echoes, oh it’s a beautiful sight.
(Chorus)
Em G D A
Magnetic echoes, you pull me closer,
Em G D A
In your cryptic embrace, the world seems slower.
(Verse 3)
Em G D A
The rhythm of your voice, it’s a harmonious noise,
Em G D A
A clandestine serenade, devoid of all poise.
(Chorus)
Em G D A
Magnetic echoes, you pull me closer,
Em G D A
In your cryptic embrace, the world seems slower.
(Outro)
Em G D A
Magnetic echoes, oh you stunning muse,
Em G D A
In your stentorian silence, I find my truth.
