Neglected Side is a group of four high school friends who metamorphosed their passion for music into a full-time career. The band was formed in the bustling city of Chicago, back in 2007. Initially, they started as a cover band, playing in local bars and small-time gigs. Their unique approach and passion for their craft eventually led them to inherit a loyal fanbase which pushed them to create original content. The name ‘Neglected Side’ was chosen to reflect their belief that everyone has a part of them that’s overlooked, a side longing for recognition and acceptance, and through their music, they hope to reach and resonate with that side of their listeners.

Oblong Provision was formed in 2003 in a small town in Washington state, by four childhood friends with a shared passion for music: lead vocalist and guitarist Mike Tremaine, bassist Kevin Farley, drummer Zach Underwood, and keyboardist Andy West. The guys used to gather in Mike’s parents’ basement, jamming out to their favorite groups and dreaming of making it big one day. All they had was their passion for music and an old oblong-shaped provision box that they used as their makeshift table, which ultimately inspired their unique band name.

After years of playing gigs at local bars and clubs, Oblong Provision caught the break they had been hoping for. A music producer from Los Angeles happened to be at one of their shows during a visit to his hometown and saw potential in their raw talent and unique sound. He offered them a record deal, which propelled them from basement jam sessions to recording in professional studios and playing at major music festivals.
