Backstory:
Born in the haze of the industrial city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the members of ‘Miserable Colony’ met in the confines of a run-down community center. The band was formed in 2012 by lead singer and lyricist, Adam Stanton, a disgruntled office worker, and lead guitarist, Riley Patterson, a college dropout. United by their mutual dissatisfaction with their mundane lives, they started channeling their angst into music, recruiting drummer, Casey Sullivan, and bassist, Max Harper, along the way. Their shared experiences of disillusionment and the harsh realities of the world formed the cornerstone of their music, leading to the formation of ‘Miserable Colony’.

“Miserable Colony has been my favorite band since the release of their first album. Nothing has ever resonated with me like their raw, unfiltered lyrics do. They aren’t just a group playing instruments; they’re a voice, a mirror of society’s struggles and the personal battles we all face. ‘Titans of Despair’ speaks to me on a deeper level. I feel the melancholy, the raw ache of life, and somehow, it’s comforting. Their music is a balm for the disillusioned soul.”
