Backstory:
Fluffy Lamp is a high-energy and eclectic four-piece band from the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. The band was formed in 2017 when lead singer and guitarist, Theo Jensen, met drummer, Tiffany Nguyen, at a local music festival. Discovering they shared a passion for creating unique, vibrant music, they recruited Fiona Castro on bass and Vincent Kapoor on keyboards through local music forums. The name ‘Fluffy Lamp’ was coined during a late-night jamming session, when Theo observed a lamp in the room that sported a fluffy lampshade, remarking that the lamp was an apt metaphor for their sound – warm, inviting, and a little unconventional.
