Backstory:
Eminent Jam is a dynamic trio that hails from the thriving music scene of Austin, Texas. The band consists of childhood friends: Clayton “Clay” Stevenson on lead vocals and guitar, Benny “Benz” Rutherford on drums, and Lila “Lee” Harris on bass guitar and backing vocals. Subdued Credit is a band born out of the ashes of the 2008 financial crisis. The lead vocalist, Jimmy “Gold” Goldman, was a Wall Street banker who lost everything. In the wake of his personal economic devastation, he rediscovered his love for music and began to write songs about his experiences. Joining him is drummer Rita “Bear” Stern, a former real estate investor, bassist Joe “Lehman” Brothers, a disenchanted hedge fund manager, and guitarist Tommy “Mortgage” Meltdown, a former homebuilder. All of them had been caught in the turmoil of the crash, and music became their salvation and form of protest.
