Backstory:

Frivolous Fool, the brainchild of Alan Morris and Jessie Cruz, came into existence in 2008. Alan, a former bassist for the unsuccessful punk band ‘Lost Cause’, and Jessie, a classically-trained violinist with a penchant for indie rock, met by chance in a small coffee shop in Portland, Oregon. They bonded over their shared love of music, and after a few jam sessions fueled by coffee and creativity, Frivolous Fool was born. They began playing gig after gig, drawing in fans with their unique sound and raw energy. Over the years, the band has gone through several line-up changes but has always remained anchored by Alan and Jessie’s powerful musical partnership.
