Backstory:
Formed in the heart of Seattle’s grunge scene in 1997, Plush Island was born from the ashes of various underground bands that had already made a name for themselves locally. The original founding members, lead singer and guitarist Mason Rhys, drummer Jake Donovan, and bassist Milo Hart, had a shared vision of creating music that was raw, emotive, and unabashedly honest. They found their missing piece in keyboardist and female vocalist, Luna Matthews, who added a unique twist to their sound, making it softer, more melodic, yet still profound. Plush Island has since emerged as a beacon of underground music.
