Sociable Cork

Backstory:
Formed in the vibrant city of Dublin, Ireland, ‘Sociable Cork’ comprises five childhood friends that share a deep love for music and the chaotic beauty of life. They began their journey in a basement, using borrowed instruments and an unyielding dedication to craft their sound. Their inspiration draws from their surroundings, their life experiences, and the rich history of their hometown. The band was named ‘Sociable Cork’ as a nod to their friendly dispositions and their love for Ireland’s second-largest city, Cork.

Over the years, they have evolved and matured, both as musicians and individuals, but their bond remains unbroken. Their music reflects this evolution and the serenity they have found in their shared journey. They have played in numerous pubs and festivals around Ireland, and their passion for their craft has earned them a growing fan base both domestically and internationally.

Testimonial:
“My name is Laura O’Sullivan. Sociable Cork isn’t just my favorite band because they’re Irish like me. Their music speaks to my soul, captures the essence of our country, and reminds me of home no matter where I am. The song “Under the Irish Sky” is my personal anthem. It makes me feel a part of something bigger, something beautiful, something profoundly Irish. To me, Sociable Cork is more than a band; they are a reminder of our shared heritage and our love for life and music.”
