Treasured Characteristic

Backstory:

Treasured Characteristic was established in the bustling city of San Francisco during the early ’90s. Its members – Jake Sullivan, Emma Griffiths, and George Stern – met while studying music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The trio quickly found a shared passion for lyrical storytelling, engulfed in melodies that blend smooth jazzy vibes with a touch of indie rock. They started playing in local bars and cafes, and their unique sound quickly caught the attention of a major record label. Their journey since then has been a roller-coaster ride of studio albums, world tours, and an ever-growing fan base.

“Treasured Characteristic isn’t just a band, it’s a way of life for me. The way they weave stories into songs, it feels like they’re narrating my life. Their unique blend of jazz and indie rock takes me on a journey with every song. They have this uncanny ability to express emotions that I didn’t even know I had. And ‘Lost Echoes’… that song is my absolute favorite. It’s like a storybook of memories, rendered in a beautiful melody. I’ve been a fan from their early days in San Francisco, and I am so proud to see how far they’ve come. Their music is my solace, my celebration and my constant companion.”
