Improbable Proportion

Backstory:
Improbable Proportion was born in the vibrant city of Chicago in 2011, around the same time when its founders, Jesse Parker and Adam Richard, were wrapping up their studies at the University of Illinois. Jesse, a Computer Science major, and Adam, an English Literature student, had been childhood friends and shared a common love for music, which they decided to explore beyond their college dorm rooms. Their shared passion for creating and experimenting with music led them to recruit two other talented musicians, bassist Emily Morrison, and drummer Mark Reynolds, both from the university’s School of Music.

In the beginning, their music was an eclectic mix of their respective musical preferences. Jesse, a fan of heavy metal, Adam, a lover of folk rock, Emily, influenced by jazz, and Mark who was a fan of all things classic rock. Improbable Proportion never decided on a specific genre, but instead chose to blend their influences into an innovative sound that was uniquely their own. They quickly garnered a significant local following and have since toured extensively, making a name for themselves in the indie music scene.

Genre:
Indie Rock Fusion

“Transcendent Horizons”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G D E7
She’s a dreamer, lost in twilight’s glow,
Am G D E7
Caught between the worlds she knows.
Am G D E7
In her eyes, there’s a universe untold,
Am G D E7
In her heart, stories never grow old.

(Chorus)
C G D E7
She’ll chase the transcendent horizons,
Am G D E7
In the realms where starlight arises,
C G D E7
Unveiling mysteries in splendid surprises,
Am G D E7
In her dreams, she defies all disguises.

(Verse 2)
Am G D E7
As she ventures through the cosmic tide,
Am G D E7
She leaves her earthly confines behind,
Am G D E7
With each step, she finds her purpose align,
Am G D E7
Her spirit, wild and unconfined.

(Repeat Chorus)

(Bridge)
F Am G E7
Among the stars, she finds her worth,
F Am G E7
In the silence of the universe’s birth,
F Am G E7
Where dreamers find their cosmic mirth,
F Am G E7
She’s a dreamer, from planet Earth.

(Repeat Chorus)
