Backstory:
Sugary Hobby wasn’t always the household name they are now. Formed in the sleepy town of Madison, Wisconsin, the band, consisting of high school friends Tracy Fields (vocals), Alec Davis (guitar), and Bryan Smith (drums), spent their early days playing small venues and local festivals. Influenced by the unique blend of Tracy’s passion for pop music, Alec’s rock roots, and Bryan’s love for jazz, they crafted a sound that was distinct yet familiar, appealing yet challenging. After winning a local battle of the bands competition, they were spotted by a talent scout and offered a record deal. The rest, as they say, is history.

Title: “Sugarcoated Dreams”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G]Staring at the starlit sky,
[Am]Picturing a lullaby,
[C]In the corners of our sugarcoated dreams.
[G]Holding onto each sweet note,
[Am]In our hearts, they stay afloat,
[C]In the echoes of our sugarcoated dreams.
(Chorus)
[D]Chasing the rush, under the setting sun,
[Am]To the rhythm of hearts, we beat as one.
[C]Life is just a palette of colors,
[G]Let’s paint our sugarcoated dreams.
(Verse 2)
[G]Through the lens of melody,
[Am]We’re more than what we seem to be,
[C]Lost in the embrace of sugarcoated dreams.
[G]Dancing through the chapters of life,
[Am]With the music as our guiding light,
[C]We color the canvas of our sugarcoated dreams.
(Chorus)
[D]Riding the wave, in the moonlight’s gleam,
[Am]To the tune of our love, in our shared dream.
[C]Life is just a movie, we’re the actors,
[G]Living our sugarcoated dreams.
Favorite Fan Testimonial:
Our favorite fan’s name is Shelly. She’s been there since our very first gig, and she’s never missed a show since. She says, “The raw, honest lyrics combined with the catchy pop-rock melodies just get me. Sugary Hobby is more than just a band to me. Their music has been a friend, a comforter and an inspiration. I’ve grown up with their songs, and their music feels like home. I don’t just listen to Sugary Hobby; I feel their music. And that’s a bond that can’t be broken.”
