Well-Off Insight

Backstory:

Well-Off Insight was formed in the vibrant college town of Austin, Texas in 2010. Comprising of four friends, Jason Stone (lead vocals, guitar), Travis Sanchez (backing vocals, drums), Carla Jones (keyboards), and Mike Rogers (bass), who met in a music appreciation class. Sharing a common love for their wide-ranging musical influences, they began as a simple dorm-room project that soon evolved into more. As they spent time writing and playing together, they discovered they had a compelling sound that was distinctly their own. Gaining popularity from their initial coffee shop performances, they transitioned from graduation into full-time musicianship, with their deeply introspective and thought-provoking lyrics resonating with the masses.

Title: “Spheres of the Mind”

Lyrics and Chord Progression:

(Verses)
Em G
Looking through the window of my mind,
D Em
All I see are spheres of time.
Em G
Painful past, uncertain now,
D Em
Wondering when, wondering how.

(Chorus)
C G
But in these spheres of the mind,
D Em
There’s a light we’re designed to find.
C G
In this labyrinth of the heart,
D Em
There’s a start, there’s a start.

(Verse)
Em G
In every sphere, a memory,
D Em
Lessons learned, or so it seems.
Em G
Shadowed fears, tears that stain,
D Em
In every loss, there’s a gain.

(Chorus)
C G
In these spheres of the mind,
D Em
There’s a love we’re designed to find.
C G
In this hurricane of the soul,
D Em
There’s a goal, there’s a goal.

(Outro)
C G
With every sphere that unwinds,
D Em
A piece of truth, we will find.
C G
In these spheres of the mind,
D Em
There’s a light, there’s a light..
