Superb Bait started as a high school passion project from three friends in the small town of Shasta, California. With his childhood friends, Marty Thompson on drums and Lesley Harper on bass, they began their journey into the world of music. They started playing in local events, high school parties, and even in fishing competitions, which led them to become popular in their town and later on, the entire West Coast.
Genre:
Superb Bait is a band known for its unique blend of Indie Rock and Sea Shanties, which they like to call “Indie Sea Rock.”

Testimonial:
“My name is Dave, and I’ve been a fan of Superb Bait since they were playing at the local pub in my hometown of Shasta. Their unique blend of Indie Sea Rock has been the soundtrack to my life. I’ve been through breakups, graduations, job promotions, and all the ups and downs life has to offer, and Superb Bait has been there for all of it. Their song ‘Riptide Reverie’ especially resonates with me because it perfectly captures the feeling of longing and loss. It’s not just music, it’s an experience, and that’s why Superb Bait will always be my favorite band.”
