Backstory:

Unkempt Blood was born out of the gritty underbelly of Memphis, Tennessee. The band members — Charlie “Chopper” Maddox (vocals/guitar), “Rusty” Russel (bass), and Nathan “Noose” Jones (drums) — were all long-time friends who had been involved in various music projects, but somehow, they never crossed paths musically until 2016. One evening, they found themselves jamming together in Rusty’s basement, and something just clicked. The chemistry was palpable and the music was raw, energetic, and unlike anything they’d ever played before. From that night onwards, Unkempt Blood began their journey, crafting music that would soon resonate with thousands across the country.
