Backstory:
Adorable Science, a quirky name borne out of a late-night brainstorming session amongst a group of friends, is an indie band that originated from the nerdy corridors of MIT. The founding members, who were all pursuing their PhDs in various scientific disciplines, found an unusual camaraderie in their shared love for music and science. What started as an amusing way to let off steam amidst the grueling academic pressure, gradually evolved into a full-fledged band. The members, Dave, a physicist, Emily, a chemist, and Tom, a biologist, used their scientific background to creatively infuse their music with scientific concepts, making them a hit in the indie music scene.
Their performances were a blend of music, humor, and science, and they quickly gained a cult following on the campus. As their fame spread, they started performing at local pubs, science fairs, and even opened for some well-known bands. Their lyrics, often full of scientific theories and concepts, presented in a catchy, relatable manner have made them a favorite amongst the geeky crowd and beyond.
