Adorable Gallery

Backstory:
While the members of Adorable Gallery may look like your typical group of college students, they have been making waves in the music scene ever since they formed their band in a dorm room at Boston University. The band came together serendipitously when the four roommates—lead vocalist Alex, guitarist and backup vocalist Jamie, bassist Riley, and drummer Chris—discovered their shared love for music. Alex had a knack for songwriting, Jamie had been playing the guitar since he was six, Riley was a bassist in her high school band, and Chris was a self-taught drummer. They began practicing together and eventually started performing at college parties. That’s when they realized they had something special. In 2015, they decided to take a leap of faith, dropped out of college and began to pursue music full-time. The name Adorable Gallery is a tribute to Jamie’s younger sister who would draw ‘adorable’ pictures for them, and they would hang them in their practice room like a gallery.

Title:
“Canvas of Love”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse)
G Em C D
We were just kids, lost in the crowd,
G Em C D
Found each other, painted colors so loud,
G Em C D
Love was a canvas, our hearts the brush,
G Em C D
Underneath the stars, in the hush.

(Chorus)
Em Bm C D
We painted a canvas of love,
Em Bm C D
Under the moonlight from above,
Em Bm C D
Colors of passion, hues of desire,
Em Bm C D
You and me, setting the world on fire.

(Verse)
G Em C D
Through the seasons, our love never fades,
G Em C D
In this gallery of memories made,
G Em C D
You’re my masterpiece, you’re my sun,
G Em C D
In this adorable gallery, we are one.

(Chorus)
Em Bm C D
We painted a canvas of love,
Em Bm C D
Under the moonlight from above,
Em Bm C D
Colors of passion, hues of desire,
Em Bm C D
You and me, setting the world on fire.
