Backstory:
Squeaky Tendency came to life in the bustling city of San Francisco where the four members met while attending the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The multi-talented group consisted of lead vocalist and keyboardist Oliver “Squeak” James, guitarist Lana “Melody” Banes, drummer Jake “Rhythm” Matthews, and bassist Max “Low-End” Harper. They started off as a group of friends sharing their passion for music by playing together at local gigs. Their shared love for the unusual combination of progressive rock and folk music led to the creation of Squeaky Tendency. They soon made a name for themselves with their unique and innovative sound, capturing the attention of major record labels.

Their breakthrough came in 2017 with the release of their debut album, “Harmonized Chaos”, which garnered both critical and commercial success. Their unique sound, combined with their lyrical depth and emotional vulnerability, resonated with a wide audience. Despite the pressure of expectation, Squeaky Tendency continues to evolve, maintaining their originality and keeping their music fresh and constantly surprising.
