Backstory:
Identical Degree was formed in the quiet town of Ashford in the green landscapes of Kent, England. The band members, childhood friends Oliver Reynolds and Nathan James, were brought together by their shared passion for music during their high school years. They spent countless hours in Oliver’s garage, experimenting with their sound, writing lyrics, and dreaming of one day making it big. After years of gigging around England, they caught their big break in 2018 when they were discovered by a talent scout at a small venue in London. Their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics quickly garnered them a dedicated following, and they have been captivating audiences around the globe ever since.

Why and how this band is his favorite:
Tom Evans is a die-hard fan of Identical Degree. From their earliest days playing in pubs to their large venue shows, Tom has been there, front row and center. Tom says, “Their music speaks to me on a deep level. It’s like they’ve lived my experiences and put them to song. They’ve got a unique sound that’s raw, real and full of emotion, and that’s what makes them stand out. Oliver and Nathan are not just musicians, they’re storytellers. Each song is a journey, and I feel privileged to have been a part of their journey from the start. Identical Degree is more than just a band to me, they’re the soundtrack to my life.”
