Dearest Polytechnic

Backstory:

Established in the heart of Silicon Valley, ‘Dearest Polytechnic’ was founded by five college friends studying at Stanford University. Emmit Lawson, the eccentric lead vocalist and guitarist, was an engineering prodigy with a passion for music that couldn’t be contained within the confines of his major. His dormmates and fellow bandmates, the cool and collected bassist Ryan McHugh, the charismatic keyboardist Aria Finch, the diligent drummer Leo Watt, and the vivacious violinist Stacy Little, shared his vision and talent. The band perfectly embodies the spirit of their alma mater – the fusion of technology and art.

After winning a local battle of the bands competition, they caught the attention of a music producer scouting for fresh talent. Their compelling blend of indie rock and synth-pop resonated with the college crowd and beyond, leading to a record deal and their subsequent rise to stardom. Dearest Polytechnic’s music is about their experiences, dreams, and the roller coaster ride of their youth.

Title:
“Binary Love Sonata”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
C#m E A G#
From the circuit boards, to the spinning vinyl floors,
C#m E A G#
We found solace in the codes, in the rhythm, in the chords.

(Chorus)
E B C#m G#
Binary love sonata, you’re my favorite error,
E B C#m G#
In this tech utopia, our hearts beat together.

(Verse 2)
C#m E A G#
Lost in the algorithm, under the neon moon,
C#m E A G#
We’re dancing to the beats, of our own digital tune.

(Chorus)
E B C#m G#
Binary love sonata, we’re synchronous in the chaos,
E B C#m G#
In this world of codes, you’re my poetic pathos.

(Outro)
C#m E A G#
Untangling wires, untangling thoughts, in this high-tech reverie,
C#m E A G#
Through the binary love sonata, we create our own symphony.
