Ethical Chart

Backstory:

Ethical Chart came together in the bustling streets of Seattle, Washington, in 2015. The band members – Nick on vocals and guitar, Alex on drums, Sarah on keyboard and vocals, and Chris on bass – were all university students with a shared interest in music and social justice. They would often engage in intense philosophical debates about ethics, morality, and the state of the world, and these discussions naturally spilled over into their songwriting, resulting in the formation of a band that aimed to make music that would inspire positive change.

The band got their first taste of success when they won a local battle of the bands competition, and their victory led to a local record label offering them a contract. Since then, Ethical Chart’s unique blend of thought-provoking lyrics and catchy tunes have earned them a devoted fan base and a reputation as a band that isn’t afraid to tackle tough issues in their music.

Song Title:
“Honesty’s Silence”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1, chords: E minor, C, G, D)
In a world that’s filled with chaos,
Drowned in lies and sweet deceits,
I wander through the shadows,
Hoping truth I might just meet.

(Chorus, chords: G, D, A minor, C)
Honesty’s silence is louder than lies,
It’s a melody pure, in the world’s noisy cries.
Seeking the fact, in the tales that we spin,
In honesty’s silence, the truth always wins.

(Verse 2, chords: E minor, C, G, D)
In a sea of false pretenses,
Where reality’s a blur,
I dive into the depth,
Where only honesty occurs.

(Chorus, chords: G, D, A minor, C)
Honesty’s silence is louder than lies,
It’s a song of the heart, under the infinite skies.
It’s the echo of justice, it’s the voice of the kin,
In honesty’s silence, the truth always begins.

The Band’s Favorite Fan:

Our favorite fan has to be Emma Johnson. Emma has been with us since our first gig – she even helped us distribute flyers for our show. She’s been a constant presence at our concerts, and her enthusiasm is truly infectious. She’s not just a fan – she’s a part of our band family.
