Fluid Fog was formed in a dingy New York basement in the winter of 2004, a product of four college friends – Steve Johnson on drums, Matthew Bell on bass, Jake Sinclair on guitar, and the enigmatic Sam Davies on vocals – and their shared love of music. Despite their humble beginnings, the band’s unique sound, blending haunting lyrics with complex melodies, quickly caught the attention of the local scene. Their first album, “Echoes of the Forgotten”, catapulted them into the limelight, and they’ve been a staple of the indie scene ever since.
