Backstory:
Medical Account was originally formed in a college dorm room in 2012, amidst late-night study marathons, pizza boxes, and towering stacks of medical texts. The core band members, Fredrick “Freddy” Johnson (lead vocals and guitar) and Charles “Charlie” Baines (drums), were both medical students at a prestigious university. They found solace in music during their stressful academic pursuits. Freddy and Charlie connected over their shared love for music, often strumming their guitars and playing makeshift drum sets to blow off steam. Their love for music didn’t go unnoticed, as they were eventually joined by fellow students, Olivia “Liv” Patterson (bass) and Martin “Marty” Greene (keyboard). Medical Account was born out of the collective need for an outlet that transcended the rigid confines of their medical studies.
