Backstory:

Alarmed Aunt was formed in the rainy city of Seattle in 2010, the brainchild of cousins Dave and Laura Anderson. Named after a quirky family story involving a burglar alarm and their eccentric Aunt Edna, the duo found their niche in the local music scene. Their shared love for music, coupled with their innate ability to narrate stories through their songs, gave the band a unique sound and character.

In 2012, they added multi-instrumentalist Sam Reid to their lineup who brought in a diverse musical influence, further enriching their sound. Alarmed Aunt slowly started to gain traction, performing at various local gigs and slowly developing a devoted fan base. Their uncanny ability to weave humor and genuine emotion into their music became their trademark, making them a standout in the indie music scene.
