Backstory:
Close Rose came together in 2010 in the heart of Detroit, Michigan, where the five members met at a local open-mic night. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Alex, drummer, Sam, bassist, Mia, keyboardist, Chris, and backup vocalist and saxophonist, Jess. They connected over their shared love for music and began jamming together in Chris’ basement. After several months of practice, they started performing at local pubs and eventually recorded their first EP, which was a considerable success in the local music scene.
Their big break came in 2013 when they were spotted by a record executive during a music festival performance. Their unique sound, coupled with their energetic stage presence, drew in a diverse crowd and earned them a record deal. Close Rose has since been on a journey of continuous growth, earning a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim for their unmatched blend of music genres.
