The band’s unique name was initially inspired by the lead singer’s grandmother’s notoriously heavy homemade buns, a family recipe passed down for generations. The band members, James (lead singer), Carl (guitarist), Lisa (bassist), and Tom (drummer), all met during their freshman year living in the same dormitory.
