Backstory:

Delectable Tree was formed in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, in 2012. The band’s nucleus, Jenny and Bill Thompson, are siblings who found comfort and solace in music from a young age. Orphaned as teenagers, their music was a way to express their feelings and emotions that words couldn’t capture. They started performing at local bars and soon their soulful tunes caught the attention of the crowd. They were joined by long-time friends, bassist Tim Porter and drummer Rachel Watkins. The name ‘Delectable Tree’ was chosen as a nod to the siblings’ favorite childhood hiding spot, a large apple tree where they used to share stories and dreams, their place of escape.
