Backstory:
Pointed Rest, originating from a small coastal town in Oregon, consists of four childhood friends; lead singer/guitarist Jack, bassist Marcy, drummer Luke, and keyboardist Travis. The band came together during high school, merging their varying interests and musical backgrounds. Jack, the poetic soul, was into folk and acoustic music while Marcy, Luke, and Travis were heavily influenced by rock and electronic music. They decided to take the best of both worlds and Pointed Rest was born. Over time, they’ve managed to create a unique sound that’s all their own, navigating the complex waters of the music industry while staying true to their roots.
