Backstory:
Born in the heart of the bustling city of Los Angeles, the band Favorable Spoon sparked to life when four friends from college, Jack, Ben, Nate, and Sam stumbled upon a common interest: music. Initially, they were just jamming in their dorm rooms, eventually making a name for themselves throughout the LA underground music scene. In 2010, they decided to formally come together to form Favorable Spoon. The name was a humorous nod to their first unofficial gig, performed at a friend’s party, where the only available “microphone” was an old soup spoon.

The group came to prominence with their unique sound and eclectic mix of influences. Their music was a breath of fresh air, breaking construct of traditional forms. In ten short years, Favorable Spoon has gone from playing in local pubs to headlining major international music festivals, continuing to make music that resonates with people all over the world.
