Backstory:
Incompatible Grip was formed in 2006 in the heart of Manhattan by childhood friends Kenny McCormick, an aspiring guitarist, and Ben Stiller, a drummer with a deep passion for music. Both were working low-wage gigs when they decided to pour their frustrations and dreams into their music. After discovering their shared appreciation for classic rock and modern alternative music, they decided to form a band. Joined by their mutual friend Molly Brewer, a gifted bassist, and later on, talented vocalist Jasper Grey, the band started making waves in the local underground music circuit. They soon started getting recognition for their raw energy on stage, and their unique sound that captured the essence of life in the city.

“Concrete Reverie”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em G
Under the city lights, in the hush of the night,
D A
We found our melody, our concrete symphony.
Em G
In the heart of the crowd, music playing loud,
D A
We made our own rhythm, an incompatible system.
(Chorus)
C D
Incompatible Grip, we let it rip,
G Em
Our anthem echoes across the brick.
C D
Our dreams on our sleeve, we still believe,
G Em
Incompatible Grip, in this concrete reverie.
(Verse 2)
Em G
Backstreet serenade, memories never fade,
D A
In the relentless pace, we found our sacred space.
Em G
Under the neon glow, our spirits on a roll,
D A
An incompatible connection, in this city’s reflection.
(Chorus)
C D
Incompatible Grip, we let it rip,
G Em
Our anthem echoes across the brick.
C D
Our dreams on our sleeve, we still believe,
G Em
Incompatible Grip, in this concrete reverie.
