Unfortunate Treaty

Backstory: Unfortunate Treaty is a group that began their journey in the heart of Camden, London in 2005. Childhood friends and music enthusiasts, Adam Reynolds, Jesse Thompson, and Ben Foster, found themselves often writing and playing music in their basement, while studying at the University of Westminster. They originally started as a punk rock trio but gradually evolved into an alternative rock band. The name “Unfortunate Treaty” was a nod to their shared history obsession, particularly with the controversial peace treaties in world history.

Genre: Alternative Rock

Title: “Dust of Yesterday”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1: E minor, C, G, D)
In the mirror of a moment, shadows fall (Em, C)
On the dust of yesterday’s recall. (G, D)
Through the echoes of our laughter, now we crawl, (Em, C)
In the ruins of our empire’s brutal brawl. (G, D)

(Chorus: A minor, G, D, C)
Oh, we’re lost in the dust of yesterday, (Am, G)
In the haze of memories that fray. (D, C)
We’ve lost our way, oh we’ve lost our way, (Am, G)
In the dust of yesterday. (D, C)

(Repeat Chorus and Verse with different lyrics)
