Backstory:
Knotty Value started in the bustling city of Seattle, Washington in 2012. The band was formed at the suggestion of Noah Carver, a passionate musician, who was working as a barista at an underground cafe. He was introduced to Leila, a talented singer-songwriter performing at open mic nights, by a mutual friend. Noah instantly felt a connection with Leila’s soulful voice and the depth in her lyrics. Over lattes and shared dreams, the two decided to form a band. Later on, they were joined by Noah’s childhood friend, Ethan, a promising drummer, and Bella, a brilliant bassist, who had moved from New York to Seattle to pursue her music career. Thus, Knotty Value was born.
The band’s unique name, Knotty Value, signifies the complexities and nuances of life, which they aim to unravel and explore through their music. Despite humble beginnings, the band managed to create a stir in the local independent music scene with their heartfelt lyrics, catchy tunes, and the raw energy that they brought to each performance.
