Backstory:
Formed in 2012 in the heart of Brooklyn, Accurate Team is a compelling blend of creative minds from divergent backgrounds. Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Ethan Kennedy, keyboardist Vincent St. James, bassist Michelle “Mikey” Jones, and drummer Rick Powers, the band was merely a brainstorming session among good friends turned into a music phenomenon. Their combined love for music, paired with their skillful precision, not only gave them their unique name but also shaped the characteristic sound they’ve become known for.
After visiting a local music festival together, the group of friends decided to turn their jam sessions into something more serious. Pooling their resources together, they transformed Powers’ garage into a makeshift studio and began recording their own music, drawing on each other’s strengths to overcome any shortcomings. Their journey started with a few small gigs, but their reputation for their detailed and accurate musical performances soon spread, earning them a dedicated fanbase in Brooklyn and beyond.
