Backstory:
Emerging from the vibrant subculture scene of New York City, Acidic Silk is a band that was born out of rebellion and resilience. Its founding members, Max “Raspy” Johnson and Leah “Silk” Murphy, were long-time friends who shared a mutual passion for music and performance. Growing up in the chaotic city, they immersed themselves in the vibrant underground music scene, honing their skills and developing their unique sound. After college, they decided to formally create a band, joining forces with drummer Pete “Pulse” Taylor and bassist Sam “Bassface” Peterson. Together, they formed Acidic Silk, a group committed to expressing truth through their music and aiming to question societal norms.
