Backstory:

Acrobatic Hearing sprang into existence in the midst of a small but vibrant music scene in Asheville, North Carolina in 2010. Friends since high school, lead vocalist and guitarist, Alex Hartwood, drummer, Nick Simmons, bassist, Ethan Clark, and keyboardist, Ryan D’Amico, decided to combine their individual musical talents for a one-time gig at a local charity event. The quartet received such overwhelming positive feedback that they decided to continue their musical journey together and “Acrobatic Hearing” was born. Their name, a unique blend of their love for high-energy live performances and their focus on creating intricate, experimental soundscapes, is a perfect fit for their innovative style.
