Backstory:

Formed in the heart of Texas, the Acrobatic Shop started with just two childhood friends, Jake Muller and Timmy Johnson. They spent their summers in a quiet barn, teaching themselves how to play every instrument they could get their hands on. This creative energy would slowly transform the barn into their beloved ‘Acrobatic Shop’. In 2011, they decided to expand their musical horizon by adding Daisy Thompson, a classically trained violinist, and drummer, Miguel Torres, to the lineup. As a four-piece band, they began their journey to share their unique sound with the world.

Genre:

Their music can be classified as Indie Folk with a dash of Rock. Acrobatic Shop has a knack for blending poignant lyrics with energetic rhythms and harmonious melodies, creating a sound that is simultaneously Heartland and cityscape.

Title:

“Carousel of Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1 – C G Am F)
C
Underneath the willow tree,
G
We played our songs in harmony.
Am
Dreaming of the world outside,
F
In our hearts, we couldn’t hide.

(Chorus – C G Am F)
C
On this Carousel of Dreams,
G
We are more than what we seem.
Am
In the rhythm and the rhyme,
F
We’re just trying to buy some time.

(Verse 2 – C G Am F)
C
Stormy skies and sunlit days,
G
In your love, I’m lost and amazed.
Am
With every beat and strummed chord,
F
In your arms, I’ve come ashore.

(Chorus – C G Am F)
C
On this Carousel of Dreams,
G
We’re spinning in this scheme.
Am
Through the highs and the lows,
F
It’s the only life we chose.

(Outro – C G Am F)
C
So here’s to us, the Acrobatic Shop,
G
Making music that will never stop.
Am
On this Carousel of Dreams,
F
We’ll keep dancing to the beat.
