Adolescent Topic

Backstory:
Adolescent Topic was formed in the dorm rooms of the Rhode Island School of Design by a group of five college friends: Sam, Leo, Alice, Matt, and Jessie. With a shared love for music and a distaste for mainstream culture, they started jamming together in their free time. What started as an experimental project soon took the form of a legit band, gaining quite a reputation for their eclectic performances within the college circuit. Their music gave a fresh perspective to the populous, making them gain popularity not only in their college but also in the local pubs and small clubs they played at.

Sam, the vocalist, and Leo, the guitarist, were the primary songwriters of the band. Alice graced the keyboard and backup vocals, while Matt was the drummer, and Jessie took charge of the bass. They took their varied influences and fused them into a sound uniquely their own. Their music was a reflection of their journey, their experiences, and their take on the world around them.

“Circles and Lines”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G
In a world spinning fast,
F C
scared of living in the past,
Am G
we’re all chasing dreams,
F C
everything’s not as it seems.

(Chorus)
G Am
Circles and lines, twists and turns,
F C
life’s a puzzle, as we learn.
G Am
In the end, it’s not about the time,
F C
but the journey, the circles and lines.

(Verse 2)
Am G
We grow up too quick,
F C
the clock’s final tick,
Am G
life’s a fleeting moment,
F C
full of joy and torment.

(Chorus)
G Am
Circles and lines, highs and lows,
F C
of love, of life, of joys, of woes.
G Am
In the end, it’s not about the sign,
F C
but the journey, the circles and lines.

(Bridge)
Em F
We’ll play our part,
C G
right from the start,
Em F
life’s a beautiful art,
C G
in the end, we all depart.

(Chorus)
G Am
Circles and lines, sunsets to sunrise,
F C
from tears to smiles.
G Am
In the end, it’s not about the finish line,
F C
but the journey, the circles and lines.

Testimonial:
“There’s something truly magical about Adolescent Topic. Their music speaks volumes to me. The lyrics are poetic and profound, and the tunes are catchy and emotive. They make you think, they make you feel, and they make you want to dance all at the same time. ‘Circles and Lines’ is my favorite song. It’s a beautiful representation of life and its journey. Sam’s voice has the power to stir emotions I never knew existed. They are my favorite band because they’ve managed to articulate feelings that are often hard for me to express. Their music resonates with my soul, makes me feel seen, and understood. It’s a connection that goes beyond just music.”
