Adored Villa

Backstory:
Adored Villa came together in the heart of Austin, Texas, in 2014. The band was formed by childhood friends and music lovers, Jack Robson, a drummer with an uncanny rhythm sense, and Keith James, a gifted guitarist with an ear for melody. The two started jamming together in their parents’ garage, and soon they were joined by Katie Holmes, a singer with a charismatic voice, and instrumentalist Dan Clifford, who had an infectious fervor for folk music. Their shared passion for music led them to create a unique, harmony-rich sound. After winning a local battle of the bands contest, they gained local recognition and support, and started touring around Texas, growing their fanbase one performance at a time.

Title:
“Rustic Dream”

Full song lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em
There’s a place, just south of nowhere,
G
Eyes closed, you can almost hear,
D
The sigh of the willows and the river’s charm,
C
In our rustic dream’s cozy arm.

[Verse 2]
Em
Where the fields are dressed in sunset’s glow,
G
And the stars are the only show,
D
We build our adored villa, under the moon’s beam,
C
In the heart of our rustic dream.

[Chorus]
G D Em C
Rustic dream, oh rustic dream,
G D C
Take us to where the world is serene,
G D Em C
Capture our hearts, make them gleam,
G D C
In the magic of the rustic dream.

(Repeat Verse and Chorus)

Fan Testimonial:
Our biggest fan, Sally Mathews, says, “I’ve been following Adored Villa since their first gig in Austin. Their music has this comforting familiarity that makes you feel at home. It’s like their songs tell stories of the heartland, of dreams, of love, and they do it in such an emotive, beautiful way. They’re my favorite because they connect with people, their music speaks to the soul. When I listen to ‘Rustic Dream’, I feel a sense of peace wash over me and in that moment, all is right with the world.”
