Backstory:
Agitated Orange emerged from the vibrant underground music scene of Austin, Texas in the early 2000s. The band is a quartet comprising of friends who met in college: Charlie “Chuck” Davis on lead vocals and guitar, Billy “Bass” Thompson on bass guitar, Mike “Mad Mike” Shaw on drums and Amelia “Amy” Parker on keyboards and backing vocals. The group bonded over their mutual appreciation for unconventional sounds and their desire to redefine the typical music landscape.
Their music, punctuated by Chuck’s distinctive vocal style and Amy’s ethereal keyboard melodies, quickly gained attention in local clubs. Despite various challenges that threatened to break them apart, their passion for music held them together, leading to their breakthrough single “Fading Spectrum” in 2005. This was followed by a nationwide tour and several appearances at major music festivals. Agitated Orange has since managed to maintain their quirky, unpretentious vibe while growing in popularity.

Title:
“Dusk’s Last Dance”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Underneath the tangerine sky, [D] she danced like a wildfire, [Em] free
[C] Barefoot on the emerald grass, [G] lost in the rhythm, [D] so lively
[G] With every flicker of the setting sun, [D] she spun in its glow, [Em] so bright
[C] As the day surrendered to the night, [G] she swayed, [D] under the moonlight
(Chorus)
[G] Dance, dance, in the twilight’s trance, [D] let your spirit be your guide
[Em] Underneath the celestial expanse, [C] in the dusk’s last dance, [G] reside
[D] The day might fade, but the stars parade, [Em] in the cosmic sea, [C] wide
[G] Dance, dance, in the twilight’s trance, [D] till the morning tide.
(Verse 2)
[G] She moved like the whispering wind, [D] a silhouette against the sky, [Em] deep
[C] The world was her stage, nature, [G] her song, [D] secrets, she did keep
[G] Amid the quiet rustle of the falling leaves, [D] she danced to their song, [Em] so sweet
[C] As stars twinkled in approval, [G] she twirled, [D] to the night’s beat
(Chorus)
[G] Dance, dance, in the twilight’s trance, [D] let your spirit be your guide
[Em] Underneath the celestial expanse, [C] in the dusk’s last dance, [G] reside
[D] The night might fall, but it’s the moon’s call, [Em] in the velvet sea, [C] ride
[G] Dance, dance, in the twilight’s trance, [D] till the morning tide.
