Backstory:
Altruistic Balance was established in a small town in Michigan in the summer of 1998. The band consists of four childhood friends: Andy (lead vocals and guitar), Vince (drummer), Oliver (bass guitar), and Alice (keyboard and backup vocals). They grew up together, sharing a mutual passion for music, and decided to form a band in their senior year of high school. Initially, they played in local bars and college festivals, and their raw talent and unique sound won them a local following. As their popularity grew, they decided to take their music career seriously and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to further their musical journey.
The band has a unique sound that blends their individual musical influences, ranging from classic rock and blues to indie folk. They define themselves not just by their music but also through their name, Altruistic Balance, derived from their collective belief in maintaining harmony and promoting goodwill.
