Backstory:
Formed in the early 2000s in the bustling city of New York, Altruistic House was born out of four childhood friends’ love for music and their desire to break the conventions of mainstream genres. Max, Jake, Rita, and Charlie, the inseparable quartet, grew up in the same neighborhood, spending countless hours jamming in basements and garages. After high school, they decided to turn their passion into a professional endeavor, marking the beginning of the Altruistic House journey. Their band name is derived from their shared philosophy of selflessness and a nod to their humble beginnings of performing in houses.
