Backstory:
Anguished Setting is a band that emerged from the heart of Chicago’s underground music scene in 2012. The band consists of five members; lead vocalist Aaron, guitarists Ryan and Kevin, bassist Mike, and drummer Tom. The group started out as friends who simply shared a love for music and deep emotional expression. It was during one of their late-night jamming sessions in Mike’s garage that the idea of forming a band was brought to life. The name ‘Anguished Setting’ was chosen to symbolize their desire to use their music to navigate life’s painful moments and turn it into something beautiful.

Genre:
Anguished Setting sails under the flag of Alternative Rock, with elements of emo, post-hardcore, and indie rock incorporated into their sound.
