Backstory:
Appropriate Fleet is the brainchild of childhood friends Caleb Thompson and Jake Pearson. The duo met in their small mid-western town of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As teenagers, they would often find themselves in Pearson’s parents’ garage, pouring their hearts and souls into their passion for music. Over the years, the duo grew into a five-piece band, including Thompson’s younger sister, Hannah on drums, Pearson’s college roommate, Max on keyboard, and their mutual friend, Luke on base guitar. The band officially formed in 2010, and has since been making waves in the indie music scene with their distinct fusion of folk rock, and blues.
